IDEA: The heart of Narva's old town has been ruined endless times - it is divided into different strata of the city - before the bombing, after, the current Narva and also the future. With this work called ESTAMP we have tried to appreciate all these different layers. ESTAMP - is reproduction graphics where a mirrored image is cut or scanned onto a plate and an impression or print is printed with it on paper. Everything ever created leaves a mark, it is not important to hide one's traces, but to create new opportunities from them.
In the imagination of locals Narva lives a different life than if it lived without being destroyed.
Therefore, allusions to space can also be imaginable. The invisible city, as Narva's modern identity inspired by the old layers. Historical volumes are marked in different ways, giving an idea of their former presence, their trace. The volume of the building is conveyed both by its contours and by the shadow created by the volume.
When using contours of buildings, the created public space is not closed, but adds functions to it. The recurring motif used is the elements broken by the slope, which break the roofs of the historic buildings.
